I’m so excited to do this blog post for you. Not only do I have two cards for you, but it features a great bundle from the annual catalog: Posted for You stamp set and the Rectangular Postage Stamp punch. When you order bundles, you save, and this bundle is a huge value because of the versatility. Let me show you. (And there’s a sneak peek, so keep reading.)
Stampy Scrappy Christmas Card

This card uses the Notecard in Very Vanilla. These precut cards and matching envelopes are perfectly sized for a quick note and can be sent in the mail. To create this quick card I cut a piece of Very Vanilla at 3-1/4″ x 4-3/4″. On top of that, I layered punched Christmas paper scraps. This was the paper my craft group used to create some cards for donations and I had a few (a lot) pieces left over. It was easy to quickly punch and then glue them on in a staggered arrangement so the “seams” don’t all line up.
Next, I trimmed off the edges and glued it to the card. I stamped the Special Delivery image in Cherry Cobbler and punched it with my retired circle punch, but you can use a die or just fussy cut it. The sentiment, stamped in Garden Green, is from the Banner Year set in the mini catalog. (Another versatile set!). I created that banner with the punch from the Banner Year bundle (are you seeing a pattern here?). Those are both popped up on Dimensionals. And that’s it. Super easy. You could even just cover an entire sheet with the punched rectangles and then cut what you need.
Pretty Note Card with a Preview

For this card, I started with a base of Thick Whisper White. I used Coastal Cabana to cover the front with second generation flower images. Then I cut a 2-1/4″x4-1/4″ piece of this gorgeous Blackberry Bliss ombre DSP that is coming out in the upcoming Sale-a-bration (yeah, you can get it as a free bonus with a qualifying purchase.) I used my Budding Blooms dies to add the Bermuda Bay trim to the top and bottom of the DSP before I added it to the card.
Next I stamped the Special Delivery in Blackberry Bliss and the bird image in Memento Ink. I colored the bird image with my Bermuda Bay and Rococo Rose Stampin’ Blends. The sentiment is from the set. I stamped it in Bermuda Bay ink and then used the punch to cut it out and then trim it down. How cute is that? For a longer sentiment, I could have used the length of the punch to do the same thing. The birds and the sentiment are on Dimensionals. Some Holiday Rhinestones provided the final touch.
