It’s been a while since I’ve taken the time to participate in a challenge that doesn’t involve Christmas in February. I visited one of my favorites, The Paper Players, and found a beautiful challenge to combat the unseasonably cold, wet weather my area has been experiencing. This week they were looking for Clean and Simple (CAS) cards that featured plants. I had the All That You Are set from the Occasions catalog waiting for me to play. Time to ink up those cling stamps.
For my card, I used Whisper White card stock, Memento Ink, and Stampin’ Blends in Granny Apple Green, Daffodil Delight, and Flirty Flamingo. Coloring this image is a breeze, no fussy details, and it only took a few minutes.

Next, I stamped the Happy Birthday sentiment in Memento Ink because I already had it out. I adore the fonts SU used for the sentiments. I checked my inventory and I don’t have anything like it. So pretty with all the swoopy details. I layered the image on a base of Thick Whisper White so I could wrap the Double Stitched Daffodil Delight ribbon around the card.
Finally, I added a few yellow enamel dots I had in my stash. If you don’t have those, use your Blends to color some Basic Pearls. It works like a dream.
If you saw something you like, consider shopping with me soon. The stamp set and ribbon are retiring at the end of the month.
Thanks to The Paper Players for an inspiring challenge!

What a pretty card, Colleen! Your coloring is spot on. The enamel dots are the perfect accents. Thank you for sharing with The Paper Players!
