Everything is Rosy

Stampin’ Up!’s Everything is Rosy kit is packed with everything a crafter needs to make stunning projects. Not only does the stamp set have beautiful floral and leafy images, the sentiments are in delightful font. Then there are the coordinating dies. The rose gold foil paper, the specialty designer paper with rose gold accents, sheets of preprinted floral images and foil accented label. As if that wasn’t enough to have you running for your craft room there are also mirrored rose gold embellishments, two full rolls of ribbon and a bottle of rose gold shimmer paint. I tried to resist, I really did. But the shimmer paint and the foil paper pushed me over the edge. I’m so glad I fell!

A Birthday Card

This is the card I designed as a make and take for my Paper Pumpkin Party club. I wanted something fairly simple to assemble but that showcased as many of the products in the kit as I could reasonably use. I also wanted something soft and feminine. So instead of the darker coordinating colors of Night of Navy or Melon Mambo, I used Powder Pink as my card base. This color is retiring at the end of May.

Normally, I would add another card stock layer, but again to keep things simple, I used a 3-1/4″x5-1/4″ piece of DSP with the lovely rose gold accents. For the leafy accent on the left, I started with a 1″x6″ strip of the foil paper and die cut using the Everything is Rosy die. I love how edge dies give you detail, but it remains connected to the paper. This made it easy to glue the DSP to foil and then attach the entire piece to the card.

Next, I assembled the sentiment layer. I used an 8″ length of the Night of Navy ribbon with rose gold metallic edges (it’s so pretty in person). Over that, I layered one of the preprinted floral sprays. These punch out and there are two sheets of just flowers in different sizes. The sentiment is stamped on a small piece of Whisper White and die cut with the Stitched Labels dies. I used glue dots for the ribbon and Dimensionals for the sentiment and flower.

As a final touch, I added three of the rose gold mirror embellishments. The inside of this card is stamped with the birthday sentiment that came in the kit. But it would also make a great thinking of you card. If you love rose gold, don’t miss out on this kit! It’s only available as long as supplies last or until May 31, 2019.
