P.S. You’re the Best is a fun stamp set in the Annual Catalog. I especially like the typewriter that allows you to stamp a sentiment on the paper part of the image. It begs for customized messages beyond what’s in the set. I decided to pair it with the Post Script background set. Made sense to me. P.S – Post Script. Ah, the ways my mind works. Of course, I dove into Pinterest for inspiration and found a great card made with the same background and using the Crafting Forever stamp set. You can see my inspiration from Carmen Morris here.
My CASE

For my card, I started with a base of Mossy Meadow. I liked the touch of black in Carmen’s card so I kept that and paired it with Copper Foil for a little more sparkle. The
Next I added another strip of Copper Foil, 1-1/2″ wide. Over that I layered a 1/2″ strip of kraft paper (left over from the Holiday catalog 12×12). I ripped the end and sponged that as well.
The typewriter is from the P.S. You’re the Best stamp set. I added the “P.S” and the “you’re the best” sentiments in Memento Tuxedo Black. The image was too large for the Stitched Shape Ovals, so I used the new Stitched Rectangles in the Occasions catalog. These dies will get a lot of use. I sponged the edges of that piece in Soft Suede so it wasn’t quite as dark as the background. I used Dimensionals to adhere it.
For a final touch I added three green rhinestones from a Christmas card kit. You could achieve the same look using a Mossy Meadows Stampin’ Blends marker and our Basic Rhinestones. This would make an excellent thank you card for any gender recipient.
