Whipping Together the Sale-A-Bration Products

Sale-a-Bration (SAB) is wrapping up at the end of March. There are products available in the SAB catalogs that aren’t available anywhere else. In addition to the catalogs, Stampin’ Up! issued a list of other products from the Annual Catalog that can be selected. These products are bonus that can be selected for every $50 US of Stampin’ Up! products ordered. Today’s card highlights these bonus products.

I started with the Tea Together stamp set from the Occasions catalog. It has the lovely teapot stamp. In my mind, the perfect teapot is silver. So I used Staz-on ink with my Stamparatus to get a clean image on the Silver Foil paper. The Stamparatus makes this so easy to do with no smears. I cut out the teapot using the coordinating framelits from the SAB catalog.

Next, I wanted to use the two papers that are included in the third list of SAB products: the Petal Promenade and the Delightfully Detailed Laser Cut paper. The photo quality of the flowers in the Petal Promenade paper is stunning. I love the colors in this particular sheet. I used a base of Highland Heather and then centered my two pieces of DSP.

To create the frame, I used Whisper White card stock and the Rectangular Stitched Framelits also in the Occasions catalog. I saw this idea on Pinterest and loved it. I used Dimensionals to adhere it to the card to start creating depth. The teapot is only glued to the frame, so it floats a bit above the background.

For the sentiment, I started with a flower image from the Tea Together set and colored it in with Stampin’ Blends in Rich Razzleberry and Mossy Meadow. I used a piece of Polka Dot Tulle for texture. The sentiment from the Lasting Lily stamp set, also a SAB bonus, is stamped in Basic Gray ink. I used Dimensionals for the that as well.

I love the three-dimensional quality to this very feminine card that could be used for any occasion. I especially love that it uses mostly free products. If you want to earn some Sale-a-Bration products, shop with me.
