Wishing You Well

The Wishing You Well stamp set from Stampin’ Up! is what they call a Distinktive set. The images are created in the red rubber in such a way that the image stamps with different opacities. To translate, the images have darker and lighter areas and can even give a shadow or translucent impression. They are so cool to play with. Ink up the stamp and get a dynamic image. This set has four images and four sentiments in a delicate cursive script.

Rustic elegance called to me again for this set. I used Merry Merlot card stock for the base. The Galvanized Metallic specialty paper works perfectly with the Tin Tile DEF. The paper is in the Year-end closeout, so if you like it, order by January 2.

I used Crumb Cake paper and ink for the leafy bouquet stamp in the kit. Over the images, I stamped the scattered flower stamp in Merry Merlot. I sponged the edges of the paper with more Crumb Cake to give it an aged feel. I adhered it with Dimensionals. I stamped the sentiment in Basic Gray ink.

The embellishments are a bow in Merry Merlot & Copper Reversible ribbon and some sequins from a past Paper Pumpkin. The ribbon may already be gone from the retiring produts, use the Copper trim or Braided Linen trim if you didn’t get this ribbon. If you wanted a simple version of this card, swap the Galvanized Metallic paper with Gray Granite paper. Instead of embossing the paper, you could stamp the scattered flowers in Gray Granite ink to add visual texture.
