The Snowflake Showcase is just like a real snowflake, fleeting perfection. This suite includes two stamp sets, one for the holiday and one for all occasions. It has a huge die set with swirls, snowflakes, flowers, and leaves that coordinate and compliment the stamps. It has the truly unique White Velveteen paper. But it’s only available to order this month. November. If you love it as much as I do. Don’t wait because it’s available only as long as supplies last.
I gave you a preview of the Snow is Glistening stamp set and the Snowfall thinlits with my September Paper Pumpkin alternate, but you may not have fully appreciated just how spectacular that snowflake tree stamp is, so I’m showing it again with this card.
The tree is heat embossed with White embossing powder on Crumb Cake cardstock. That is layered over a piece of Champagne foil. Here’s a quick paper saving trick – I cut out some snowflakes from the center of that layer before I put the Crumb Cake on top. If I hadn’t told you, you would never have been able to tell. Three of those snowflakes are placed around the tree.
I used the big swirly die on the white velveteen paper. It adds texture and visual movement to the card. Three rhinestones add more sparkle and draw the eye around the card. The sentiment is from the Christmas Traditions Punch box and is stamped in Crumb Cake ink. I love elegant cards like this that appear more complicated than they are.
Here is the video from Stampin’ Up! on this gorgeous set.
Lovely piece.
