Christmas in Paradise

My Paper Pumpkin party peeps loved the Christmas in July card so much that they challenged me to make a Christmas card with all the new kits going forward. You know how I love a challenge!  The July Paper Pumpkin kit, Picnic Paradise was designed to make 3×3 cards that fit into a cute little basket.  I saw the blueberry punch pieces and knew exactly what I was going to make – ornaments. Look what I whipped up from the picnic basket:

This is optional and the card would be just as cute without the hangers. I coated the ornaments and hangers with Wink a Stella to give them some sparkle. The DSP is Under the Mistletoe from the Annual catalog.  The greeting is from Christmas Pines stamped in Shaded Spruce.  I used the stitch stamp from the Paper Pumpkin kit to add the detail around the sentiment. Some red ribbon and rhinestones and “POOF” a Christmas card from fruit.

I hope you’re having fun with all of the fun supplies in your monthly Stampin Up kit. If you haven’t subscribed, now is the time. The September box is going to be filled with spooky fun for Halloween. And then the holiday boxes start. Don’t be left out. Subscribe now.
