Better Together – CASE of the Mondays

Better Together is a fantastic “all around” stamp set. It’s the player on the team that can hit, catch, and works the outfield like a champ. (It’s summer – I have to use baseball analogies.)

The nineteen stamps come in either wood or unmounted rubber.  My unmounted stamps came in two cases. The twelve sentiments are sizable and use fun unique fonts. There are sentiments for a variety of events like weddings, birthdays or Christmas. There are more generic sentiments like “Just a note…”  Some of the sentiments would work well to stamp inside the card.

In addition to the sentiments, there are seven simple images.  A rose outline, a party hat, baby pin with a cute heart in the wire, stars and a couple others.  With just this one set of stamps, you could make cards all year long.

The card I chose to CASE was made by Brian King.  You can see his card here.

Brian used a lot of white space on his card.  I decided to feature the Share What You Love DSP.  Because this set is so focused on the sentiments, it works really well with gorgeous paper or creative backgrounds. The sentiment, rose images, and accent cardstock are all in Rich Razzleberry to match the velvet ribbon embellishment.  I also used a few Share What You Love Artisan Pearls.

I had intended to use only one rose image, but after I stamped it, I wasn’t happy with how it floated above the sentiment.   So I added a few more but still left a little bit of empty space as a respectful nod to Brian’s original clean and simple design.
