Share What You Love – Two for Tuesday

I just can’t stop with this suite!  Today I have two simple cards for you that showcase that gorgeous DSP I’m so entranced by.  One uses a Very Vanilla card base, the other Whisper White.

Here is the Very Vanilla card. This card is almost monochromatic in its use of Grapefruit Grove.  I fell in love with the background DSP with the names of flowers.  I might order another pack of paper just for that pattern. The strip of floral paper is from the same pack and has the pearly accents.  So elegant.

The stamps were from the Love What You Do set that is going to be available to pre-order in a bundle through the month of May.  I stamped off the background stamp that looks like a watercolor wash so it wouldn’t be quite so intense. I did the same thing over the flower buds before I fussy cut them out to layer on top of the sentiment which was stamped in Memento Black ink.  The final embellishment is the tiny Linen Thread bow

This is a super simple card that has a lot of wow and would be great for a Mother’s Day card or a Birthday or just a note.

Share What You Love Easy Card

The Whisper White card was just as simple with fewer layers but more embellishments. I started by cutting the piece of Share What  You Love DSP.  I added some Rich Razzleberry Velvet Ribbon.  On top of that, I used the Tranquil Tide baker’s twine from the suite’s embellishment kit.  I mounted this to the card base with Dimensionals.

The stamping was done with Mint Macaron and Tranquil Tide. This time, I did not stamp off the background watercolor wash stamp because I’m using my retired Mint Macaron stamp pad and it’s not as juicy as my new Grapefruit Grove.  I layered the stamped piece on Mint Macaron, added a Pearlized Doily and adhered that to the card with Dimensionals.  I little pearl from the Artisan Pearls pack broke up all the green of the sentiment.

I’ll have one more card from this suite for you tomorrow. If you’d like to place a pre-order in May, please Contact me.
