Today I have two gift giving ideas for you. The first is perfect for a gift card. The second is a small box made from the Lots to Love Box Framelits.
The card was made using a Narrow note card. They are the perfect size for a few words and a gift card. I embossed the sentiment on Peekaboo Peach and die cut it with an oval framelit. The little bit of gold leaf is from the Painted Love Gold Vinyl Stickers. So quick and easy. I used some more of the stickers on the envelope. The leaves are stamps in the Sure Do Love You set. I like how the Calypso Coral provides a brilliant pop of color. The final detail is a small nest of Gold Metallic Thread. That’s it. Super simple and super pretty.
The gift box was the simplest box I’ve ever made. The die is part of the Lots to Love die set. You cut two and facing the round parts to opposite ends, glue the edges together with some strong adhesive like Tear & Tape. That’s it! Really!
Ok, I’ll include the official Stampin Up! video at the end of this post so you can see for yourself.
To decorate the box, I cut the heart from the same die set in Whisper White and layered on another sticker. I stamped the banner from the Sure Do Love You set, again in Calypso Coral and die cut that. Yep, the same Lots to Love set has the banner die. This time I didn’t stamp the leaves, I just used the die on another scrap of paper from the Painted with Love DSP pack. The little bit of gold on them is – you guessed it – the stickers. There is a bit of Gold Metallic thread on this box too. The finished box measures 5″ x 3″ and is 5/8″ deep.
That’s it. A beautiful gift card and gift box, decorated with love, in less than an hour.
And here’s the video I promised.
